Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair 2018

Next Fair -
Saturday 16th February 2019
(To be confirmed)
We would like to say a big Thank You to all the customers that came to "our" first Dolls House fair at Thame on Saturday 17th February 2018, we had 409 visitors to the show and many came from quite a distance to the fair and said it was very much worth the visit.
We had a wonderful selection of exhibitors (including a mix of previous Thame exhibitors and also Newcomers to the fair) offering a wide range of items, and both halls were full of lovely miniatures. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comments from customers were flowing on what a nice day had been had and lovely to see such a wonderful fair, and pleased that we were continuing the established Thame Fair.

We also brought in a team of caterers to provide refreshments which were also a welcome attraction and there was plenty of space to take a seat and sit and peruse. We even had good fine weather which was amazing considering the snow we have had since causing disruption to miniature fairs around is, (we were very lucky)   Next year we hope we can repeat this again with similar array of quality exhibitors and that word of mouth will tell all that it is a fair to visit.
We were also lucky to have a display from MTW (Thame) Dolls house Club, featuring Japanese room Boxes and Gardens.
We moved the Charity stand to their own area so that they could focus on just the needs of the charity, although we had mixed reviews on the relocation overall it was said that the visitors
liked it in the new location.
That being said we raised just shy of £1800 for Breast Cancer NOW, so a huge thank you to all the customers who purchased items and also of the kind donations that came through the door on the day and also the ladies on the Table, and Clive who did superb job with the Charity Raffle Tickets and also the wonderful prizes donated by many of the exhibitors and others.
Also thank you to all customers who signed up for the Newsletter we selected one at random at the end of the show, and the lucky recipient of the Handmade Tea Tray was Janet Brooks,
and we hope she enjoys the Gift.
Thank you again To Customers, Exhibitors, Helpers, and the venue organisers, and look forward to the next Fair.
